Varying the Conditions in Respect of the Borrowing by the Stratford Borough Council by Way of Hypothecation of Debentures

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of May 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the 14th day of September 1955 (hereinafter called the said Order in Council) and subject to the conditions therein set out, consent was given to the borrowing by the Stratford Borough Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) by way of hypothecation of debentures authorised to be issued in respect of a loan of £10,000, known as "Land Development Loan 1955":
And whereas it is expedient to vary certain of the conditions aforesaid in respect of the said borrowing:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 7 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act 1932-33 and section 8 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act 1933, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies the conditions contained in the said Order in Council by prescribing that in lieu of a rate of interest not exceeding 4 per cent per annum, the borrowing by the said local authority by way of hypothecation as aforesaid shall be at a rate of interest not exceeding 4½ per cent per annum.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Waimea County Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the access way dealt with: 3·6 perches. Being Lot 13, D.P. 5252, being part Section 53, District of Suburban South. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 80, folio 169, Nelson Land Registry. Situated in Block VII, Waimea Survey District.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 147371 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
