A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-
General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric
Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to part
to the building-line restriction imposed by notice No. 421332,
Canterbury Land Registry, for State housing purposes; and
I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 21st day of May 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8 acres 2 roods
21.1 perches.
Being part Section 13, Avonhead Settlement No. 2.
Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canter-
bury R.D. (S.O. 8903.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150253
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator

General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric
Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with a right
of way over other part of Section 12, Porirua District, and
coloured yellow on the plan endorsed on certificate of title,
Volume 160, folio 237, excepting thereout that part of the
said right of way contained in certificate of title, Volume 487,
folio 289, Wellington Registry, for better utilisation; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 21st day of May 1956.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 71
of the Fire Services Act 1949, I, Major-General the
Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the additional land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire station and
shall vest in the Christchurch Fire Board as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclama-
tion shall take effect on and after the 21st day of May 1956.

16.7 perches.
Being part Town Sections 947 and 949, City of Christ-

Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street widening
purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the Borough of Papatoetoe as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 21st day of May 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 16884, being part Allotment 14,
Parish of Manurewa.
Situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland
R.D. (S.O. 38975.)

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150260
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
