Land Taken, Together With the Benefit of and Subject to Certain Rights, for a Public School in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, together with the benefit of certain drainage rights created in and by Memorandum of Transfer No. 216092, Auckland Land Registry, and subject to the storm water rights granted in and by Memorandum of Transfer No. 534266, Auckland Land Registry, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto together with and subject to the drainage rights created in and by Memorandum of Transfer No. 216092, Auckland Land Registry, is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of May 1956.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 37·9 perches.
Being Lot 64, D.P. 41099. Part certificate of title, Volume 1065, folio 19, Auckland Land Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 12 acres and 16 perches.
Being Lot 22, D.P. 14882. All certificate of title, Volume 433, folio 215, Auckland Land Registry.
All situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of May 1956.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the City of Napier

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Samuel Smidt, of Richmond Farm Settlement, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10277, is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of May 1956.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 9 acres and 10·6 perches.
Being part Lot 27, D.P. 6257, being part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block.
Situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Heretaunga Survey District, City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D. (S.O. 2905.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150283 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 4 acres and 2·4 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 7400, being part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block.
Part certificate of title, H.B. Volume 121, folio 180, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.
Situated in the City of Napier.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of May 1956.
