Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 7th day of May 1956.

Revocation of Approval of Application by Nelson City Council for Declaration of a Zone of Parking Restriction
Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937 and its amendments,* the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the approval dated the 7th day of July 1948†, of the application made by the Nelson City Council for a declaration that the continuous parking of motor vehicles shall be restricted to a maximum period of sixty minutes for any vehicle between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the zone of parking restriction described in the said approval.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936
Pursuant to clause (26) of regulation 7, and clause (10) of regulation 16 of the Traffic Regulations 1936,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
RED reflectors manufactured by James Neale and Sons Ltd., England, having 1·5 in. diameter lenses marked NPL No. 552, mounted in black rubber holders marked on the back “Raydyot”.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
