Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Pursuant to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotions, and transfers of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

The undermentioned cadet officers are granted permanent commissions in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, with the rank of Pilot Officer and with seniority from 13 December 1955:
Graham Colin DERBY (594353).
Geoffrey Charles HUBBARD (774712).
Sergeant Alan DYER (326435) is granted a commission in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, for a period ending 28 February 1963 to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Pilot Officer with seniority from 29 February 1956.

Promotion
Flight Lieutenant Robert Malcolm ALLAN, B.E., D.I.C., F.R.MET.S., A.F.R.A.E.S. (74148), to be temporary Squadron Leader for the period 5 December 1955 to 20 April 1956 inclusive.
