A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General, Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier railway.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 3·47 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, being part Section 656, Hutt District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 684, folio 3, Wellington Registry.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the 6th day of February 1956, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Sylvan Street (described in the Second Schedule hereto) within a distance of 25 ft. from the centre line of the said portion of street.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THAT the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, hereby declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to that portion of the south-western side of Sylvan Street fronting Lots 10 and 12, D.P. 52, being part Section 50, Block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin District, being land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 122, folio 193, Otago Land Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Sylvan Street, fronting a subdivision of Lots 10 and 12, D.P. 52, being part Section 50, Block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 149901 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Authorising the Purchase by the Golden Bay Electric Power Board of Certain Electric Works from the State Hydro-electric Department

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the purchase by the Golden Bay Electric Power Board from the State Hydro-electric Department of the electric works described in the Schedule hereto for the sum of £7,540 14s. 4d., payable on the 1st day of October 1956.
SCHEDULE
THE 11,000 volt double circuit electric line leading from the State Hydro-electric Department's substation at Motupipi to the premises of the Golden Bay Cement Co. Ltd. at Tarakohe, together with associated metering equipment in the said substation.
