Land Taken for a Fire Station in Block VI, Cape Survey District, Taranaki County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire station, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taranaki, being the Urban Fire Authority for the Secondary Urban Fire District of Okato, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of April 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 38·68 perches.

Being part Section 62, Town of Okato.

Situated in Block VI, Cape Survey District, Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 8718.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 149188 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of April 1956.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Bunnythorpe–Haywards Transmission Line).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 3·86 perches.

Being part Maori Land Court Subdivision known as Ngarara West A, being part Section 29, being also Lot 58, D.P. 18250. Part certificate of title, Volume 372, folio 28, Wellington Land Registry.

Situated in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject as to part to the water rights taken and vested in Her Majesty the Queen by Proclamation No. 4449, Wellington Land Registry, is hereby taken for water supply purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of April 1956.
