crossing the Mangapu River to and along the south-eastern
and eastern boundaries of Lot 4, D.P. 21282, being part
Hauturu East No. 2 No. 2B Block, to the south-eastern side of
the Hamilton - Te Kuiti State Highway; thence along a right
line across that highway to and along the eastern side of the
public road forming the western boundaries of Sections 30
and 31, Block VIII, Orahi Survey District, to and along the
eastern boundaries of Lots 3 and 2, D.P. 34695, being parts
Hauturu East No. 2A 3B Block and parts Section 8A, Block
VIII, Orahi Survey District aforesaid, along the north-
eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 34695, being part Section 8A
aforesaid, and along the north-eastern and north-western
boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 34401, being part Section 7A of the
last-mentioned Block VIII, to the eastern side of Haurua
Road; thence westerly generally along a right line across

Awaroa road to and along the northern boundaries of Sections

No. 2 No. 2B 2 Blocks, and along a right line being the last-

south-western boundaries of Section 6 of that last-mentioned

Owhiro Road, the said lots being shown on D.P. 7463, and
being parts Taumatatotara Nos. 1C 2, 2C, and 2D 2 Blocks, to

that eastern boundary to and along the eastern boundaries of

eastern side of a public road and a branch of the Waihara-
keke Stream, to and along the line of mean high water along
the south-western and north-eastern shores of the Waihara-
keke Inlet, the eastern and northern shores generally of the
Kawhia Harbour, and the sea coast, to the southern shores
of the Aotea Harbour, the point of commencement; save and
excepting thereout the Borough of Otorohanga as described
in Gazette No. 52, of the 17th day of September 1953, page

THIRD SCHEDULE
Area Included in County of Waitomo
ALL that area of approximately 163 square miles bounded by
a line commencing at a point on the western boundary of
the Waitomo County, being the north-eastern corner of Lot 2,
D.P. 12587, and being part of Section 4, Block VIII, Kawhia
South Survey District, and running southerly, westerly, and
northerly generally along the boundary of the Kawhia
County as described in Gazette No. 57, of the 28th day of
August 1952, page 1410, to and easterly generally along the
line of mean high water along the generally southern shores
of the Kawhia Harbour, to and along the southern boundary
of the portion of the Kawhia County to be added to the
Otorohanga County, as hereinbefore described, to the point
of commencement.
FOURTH SCHEDULE
Boundaries of County of Waitomo
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Taranaki Land
Districts bounded by a line commencing at a point on the
shores of the Tasman Sea in Block XV, Albatross Survey District, known as Albatross Point, and running generally south-
easterly along the line of mean high water along those shores,
along the southern shores of the Kawhia Harbour, and the
south-western shores of the Waiharakeke Inlet, to and along
the generally south-western boundary of the County of
Otorohanga as hereinbefore described, to a point in Block
XIV, Ranginui Survey District, being the intersection of the
southern boundary of Maraeroa A No. 3B 2 Block with a
right line between Trig. Station No. 1641 (Rangitoto) in
Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, and the source of the
Ongarue River, near Trig. Station No. 1390 (Pureora) in
Block III, Hurakia Survey District, and continuing along the
said right line to the source of that river; thence generally
westerly down the middle of the Ongarue River aforesaid,
to a point in Block V, Hurakia Survey District, in line with
the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 54A 2 Block,
and along a right line to and along that boundary, along the
eastern and northern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua No.
36A 1B 2B 2B Block, the northern boundary of Rangitoto-
Tuhua No. 36A 1B 2B 2A Block, and the northern and north-
western boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 37B 3 Block, the northern boundary
of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 37B 4 Block, the northern and western boundaries of part Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 37B 5 Block, and
the western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 37B 1 Block, to
the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block III, Pahi Survey
District; thence along the northern and western boundaries
of the said Section 2, and the western boundary of Section 1
of that Block III, to and along the north-western boundary
of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 78B Block (now subdivided) to the
middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence
southerly along the middle of that railway to a point in line
with the south-western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No.
77B 1B 2C Block, and along a right line to and along that
boundary, and along another right line being that boundary
produced to the middle of the Ongarue River aforementioned;
thence again down the middle of that river to the south-eastern
corner of Block III, Tangitu Survey District, and again
westerly generally along the southern boundaries of Blocks
III, II, and I, Tangitu Survey District, to and along the
south-eastern boundary of Section 6, the eastern and southern
boundaries of Section 8, and the southern boundary of Section
7, all of Block IV, Aria Survey District, to and along the
eastern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Aria Survey District, to the northernmost corner of that last-mentioned
section; thence still generally westerly along the northern
boundaries of Blocks VIII and VII, Aria Survey District, and
the eastern and southern boundaries of Block VI, Aria Survey
District, to the Puketawai Trig. Station; thence along the
southern and western boundaries of Section 9, and the southern
boundary of Section 6, both of Block VI, Aria Survey
District aforesaid, and along a right line being that last-
mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Waite-
whena road; thence southerly along the middle of that road
to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 8,
Block V, Aria Survey District, and again westerly along a
right line to and along the southern and western boundaries
of that Section 8, the southern boundaries of Sections 3 and
2 of Block V, Aria Survey District aforesaid, and the eastern
and southern boundaries of Section 11 of that Block V, to and
along the western boundary of the Aria Survey District to the
middle of the Panirau Stream; thence down the middle of
that stream, to and down the middle of the Mokau River to
a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part
Section 3, Block III, Mokau Survey District (scenic reserve),
and along a right line to and along the north-eastern, eastern,
and southern boundaries of that part Section 3, to and along
the eastern and southern boundaries of part Lot 13, D.P.
3049 (Taranaki Land Registry), the southern boundary of
Lot 7, D.P. 3836 (Taranaki Land Registry), the southern and
western boundaries of Lot 6, and the southern boundary of
Lot 5, both on D.P. 3836 aforesaid, and along a right line
being that last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle
of the Mokau River aforementioned; thence again down the
middle of that river to the Tasman Sea; thence northerly
generally along the shores of the Tasman Sea to Albatross
Point in Block XV, Albatross Survey District, the point of
commencement; save and excepting thereout the Borough of
Te Kuiti as described in Gazette No. 22, of the 15th day of
March 1928, page 714.
