A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 26th day of March 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 32
perches.
Being Lot 24, D.P. 38729. Part certificate of title, Volume

Situated in Block III, Waitemata Survey District.

is hereby set apart for an automatic telephone exchange;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 26th day of March 1956.

is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
26th day of March 1956.

Altering the Boundaries of the Te Awamutu Electric
Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the
boundaries of the Te Awamutu Electric Power District so as
to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, being part
of the Kawhia County, bounded by a line commencing at the
north-western corner of Section 4, Block XV, Kawhia North
Survey District, and running south-easterly generally along
the boundary of part of the Te Awamutu Electric Power
District, as described in Gazette No. 93, of the 21st day of
December 1938, at page 2813, to the eastern boundary of the
County of Kawhia; thence southerly generally along that
eastern boundary as described in Gazette No. 57 of the 28th
day of August 1952, at page 1410, to the south-eastern corner
of Section 5, Block IV, Kawhia South Survey District; thence
westerly generally along the northern boundary of the Wai-
tomo Electric Power District, as described in Gazette No. 54,
of the 24th day of August 1950, at page 1616, to and northerly
generally along the eastern shores of the Kawhia Harbour,
to and south-easterly up the right bank of the Awaroa River,
being part of the boundary of the Te Awamutu Electric
Power District as hereinbefore described, to the point of
commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in red
on the plan marked S.H.D. 386 deposited in the office of the
State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of March 1956.
