Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Ohau

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, 1, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th
day of March 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2
roods 20·7 perches.
Being part Muhunoa 1B 2B.
Situated in Block IV, Waitohu Survey District, Horowhenua
County. (S.O. 23277.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13982
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Com-
mission at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 13th day of March 1956.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Eversley to
the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land decribed in the Schedule hereto
shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a
road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the
Mackenzie County Council and shall be maintained by the
said Council in like manner as other public highways are con-
trolled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of railway land allocated to
road: 1 rood 25·2 perches.
Railway land, being part Reserve 1840, Block VII, Tenga-
wai Survey District.
Situated in Mackenzie County. (S.O. 8897.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13955
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commis-
sion at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 13th day of March 1956.
