Harbour Loan No. 2 1955, £6,875

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the
Tauranga Harbour Board held on the 27th day of
February 1956, the following resolution was passed:
"In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its
amendments and of all other powers it thereunto enabling,
the Tauranga Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of
the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Harbour Loan No. 2 1955, of £6,875, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act, the Tauranga Harbour Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one sixty-fifth of a penny (1/65d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Harbour District, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate, during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 10th day of August in each and every year, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Worker's Dwelling (Advance) Loan No. 2 1955, £2,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand pounds (£2,000) authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of advancing moneys to an employee to erect a dwelling on his land, the said Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one penny (·1d.) in the pound upon the rate-able value of all rateable property of the Borough of Rangiora (on the basis of the unimproved value), and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,000 authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the water reticulation, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty-three one-thousandths of a penny (33/1000d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held on the 15th day of February 1956.
