LAKE COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Lake County Council, at its meeting held on the 7th day of February 1956, has resolved to prepare for that part of the County described in the Schedule to this notice a district planning scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Frankton District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's office on or before the 31st day of May 1956.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District and Lake County containing approximately 1,310 acres, situated in the Town of Frankton, and Blocks I, XX, and XXI, Shotover Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern shore of Frankton arm of Lake Wakatipu in line with the eastern boundary and its production across the Milton-Queenstown State Highway; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that highway to the south-eastern boundary of Section 32, Block XX aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the boundary, easterly along the northern boundary of Sections 35 and 33, northerly along the western boundary of Section 20. easterly along the northern boundary of Sections 20 and 56, generally north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 55, 54, 53, 52, a public road, Sections 57, 41, 42, and 39, the north-western boundary of Section 39, and the north-western boundary of Section 50, Block XX, Shotover Survey District; thence generally north-easterly across a public road and along the north-western boundaries of Sections 31 and 32, the south-western boundary of Section 15, the north-western boundaries of Section 15, Block XXI, a public road, Sections 17 and 14, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 18, and the north-western boundaries of Section 20, a public road, Sections 19 and 35, the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of Section 16, the north-western boundaries of Sections 29, 7, and 6, Block XXI, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 12, and the western boundary of Section 2; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 2, 4, and 3, southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 3, and north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Section 5, Block XXI, to its northernmost corner; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that Section 5 and its production across the Milton-Queenstown State Highway; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the highway to a public road on the north-eastern boundary of Section 57, Block I, Shotover Survey District; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of that road to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 16, Block I aforesaid, and its production to the left bank of the Kawarau River; thence generally westerly along the left bank of the Kawarau River and generally north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western shores of Frankton arm of Lake Wakatipu to the point of commencement.

NEIL MANUFACTURING COMPANY LIMITED

MEMBERS' VOLUNTARY WINDING UP

NOTICE is hereby given that by special resolution of shareholders of the Neil Manufacturing Company Limited, dated the 29th day of February 1956, it was resolved:-
"1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
"2. That Mr Tolmie Alexander Scoular, Public Accountant, of Dunedin, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."

NOTICE TO CREDITORS TO PROVE

THE liquidator of the Neil Manufacturing Company Limited does hereby fix the 23rd day of March 1956 as the day on or before which creditors of the company have to prove their claims or debts and to establish priority (if any) under section 258 of the Companies Act 1933, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before such claims or debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objection to such distribution.

APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE FOR A WATER RACE UNDER THE MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that I will apply to the Wardens Court at Cromwell on Wednesday, the 11th day of April 1956, at 10 a.m., for the grant to me of a water-race licence to divert three heads from the Kawarau River by means of a pump and delivered by means of a pipe line 250 ft. long, commencing 20 chains upstream from the junction of the Shotover and Kawarau Rivers and 2 chains upstream from the boundary fence dividing my property and that of John Grant on the Crown land, and thence proceeding north-west 250 ft. and terminating on my freehold property, for the purposes of irrigation, domestic, and watering stock.

Objections must be filed in the Registrar's Office, Cromwell, and notified to the applicant or his solicitor, B. P. Sheehan, Queenstown, at least three days before the above date of hearing.

In the matter of the Religious, Charitable, and Educational Trusts Act 1908 and its amendments, and in the matter of the trusts of the will of Pane Ihaka or Eramiha, of Greytown, an aboriginal native of New Zealand, deceased.

TAKE notice that on the 3rd day of February 1956 an order was made by the Right Honourable the Chief Justice of New Zealand, sitting in Chambers at the Supreme Courthouse, Wellington, adopting the report of the Attorney-General on the scheme filed in such Court for the disposition of the property devised to the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees under the will of the above-named Pane Ihaka or Eramiha and approving such scheme without modification or alteration.

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of nine thousand five hundred pounds (£9,500) authorised to be raised by the Raetihi Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the renewal of part of its water works, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of six and a half pence (6½d.) in the pound (£1) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution duly passed by the Raetihi Borough Council at its meeting held on the 28th day of February 1956.

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000) authorised to be raised by the Raetihi Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting workers' dwellings, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four pence (4d.) in the pound (£1) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution duly passed by the Raetihi Borough Council at its meeting held on the 28th day of February 1956.
