NOTICE OF MEMBERS' VOLUNTARY WINDING UP

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Weeks (Wanganui) Limited, held on the 24th day of February 1956, the following special resolution was passed:

“ That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of Weeks (Wanganui) Limited with Weeks Limited, and that with a view thereto this company be wound up voluntarily, and that Malcolm Alexander Ronald Cameron be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for such winding up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 16th day of February 1956 presented to the said Court by American Donuts (N.Z.) TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Rangiora Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 22nd day of February 1956, has resolved to prepare for the Rangiora Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Rangiora Borough District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk's office on or before the 15th day of May 1956.

WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1955, £6,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Waikato Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 known as the Housing Loan 1955, and authorised to be raised by the Waikato Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting dwellings for staff housing, the said Waikato Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-quarter of a penny (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Waikato Electric Power District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waikato Electric Power Board held on the 16th day of February 1956.
