Crown Land Set Apart for the Purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway at Onehunga

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of March 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Railway purposes.

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 2 perches, more or less, being Town Section 4, Block IV, Ormondville Township, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 28, folio 193, Hawke's Bay Registry.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 2 roods 31·8 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 29317, being part Allotment 49, Parish of Titirangi.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes Near Midhirst to the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Stratford County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Being part railway reserve adjoining part Section 3 (D.P. 248), Block XIII, Huiroa Survey District.

Authorising James Stephen Smith, of Amodeo Bay, Coromandel, Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Coromandel

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 7th day of March 1956
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises James Stephen Smith, of Amodeo Bay, Coromandel, Farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1976.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's generator situated in part Pukemako No. 2 and proceeding in a north-westerly direction across a road to a house situated in Pukemako No. 1; all being situated in Blocks VI and X, Coromandel Survey District, in the County of Coromandel; the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 366 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
