DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership existing between HUGH ERWIN BURDETT, of Clevedon, Contractor, and GILBERT GEORGE BURDETT, of Clevedon, Contractor, carrying on business as sawmillers at Clevedon under the style or firm of “Clevedon Sawmilling Company” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of February 1956. As from that date the business is being carried on by the said HUGH ERWIN BURDETT on his own account under the style or firm of “Clevedon Sawmilling Company”.

PALTRIDGE ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 24th day of February 1956 presented to the said Court by David Lewis Paltridge, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 23rd day of March 1956 at Auckland in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributor of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Kihikihi-Golf Roads Water Supply Special Area Loan 1955, £3,050
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,050 authorised to be raised by the Waipa County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply in the Kihikihi-Golf Roads Water Supply Special Rating Area, the said County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three pence and five-eighths of a penny (3½d.) in the pound on the ratable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Kihikihi-Golf Roads Water Supply Special Rating Area described in the Schedule hereto, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ALL the following land adjoining the State highway from Te Awamutu to Kihikihi, and Golf Road described as:
Part D.P. 30720, part Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 255, part 393 (1 acre 2 roods 10 perches); Lots 2 to 18, 20 to 31, and 33, D.P. 28308; Lots 1, 2, 3, 6, and 18, D.P. 28520, of Allotment 12, also part Allotment 12 (96 acres 2 roods 16·5 perches); Lots 4, 5, 7 to 17, D.P. 28520, of Allotment 12; part Lots 3 and 8, D.P. 255 (1 acre 3 roods); Lots 1 to 9, D.P. S. 3445; part D.P. 22388, of Allotments 142, 146, 147 (2 roods 28 perches); part Allotment 13 (7 acres 2 roods 14·4 perches); all contained in Puniu Parish, Blocks VI and VII, Puniu Survey District.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Waipa County Council held on the 20th day of February 1956.

CARTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Carterton Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the abovementioned Acts and their respective amendments to execute a certain public work, namely, making a street (Costley Street); and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Carterton Borough Council, Holloway Street, Carterton, and also at the offices of Messrs Major, Gooding, and Wollerman, Solicitors, Broadway, Carterton, and may be inspected (without fee) at either of those places by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Holloway Street, Carterton.
