RAHOTU LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at 35–37 Victoria Street, Wellington, on Friday, the 16th day of March 1956, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidation thereof shall be disposed of.

AIRCRAFT SUPPLIES (N.Z.) LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

PURSUANT to the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Aircraft Supplies (N.Z.) Limited, duly convened and held at the offices of Messrs Davis and Grey, Public Accountants, at 146 Willis Street, Wellington, on the 27th day of February 1956, the following resolution was duly passed as an extraordinary resolution of the company:

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and that, accordingly, the company be wound up voluntarily.”

It was further resolved that Frederick Arnold Davis, Public Accountant, of Wellington, be nominated liquidator of the company.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1955, £10,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Blenheim doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing houses for Council staff within the Borough of Blenheim, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and twenty-six one-thousandths of a penny (0·126d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan.”

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Swimming Pool Loan 1955, £25,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Blenheim doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a new swimming pool within the Borough of Blenheim, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundred and eighteen one-thousandths of a penny (0·318d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan.”

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Subscriptions.—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, £1 10s. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, £3 5s. per calendar year in advance.

(4) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C. 1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
