Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land Subject as to Parts to a Building-line Restriction


PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 10th day of August 1955, subject as to the land first described to building-line restriction No. K.2883, Nelson Land Registry, and as to the land secondly described to building-line and hoarding restriction No. K.3395, Nelson Land Registry.

Revoking a Warrant Excluding Streets from Limitation as to Speed and Excluding Streets from the Speed Limitation Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36


PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that warrant dated the 16th day of December 1946,* which applies to portions of streets within Taupo Borough, and hereby excludes those portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.


SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Taupo Borough—

(1) Taupo–Napier State Highway No. 22 (all that portion commencing at a point 3 chains measured along the said State Highway in an easterly direction from its junction with the National Park–Taupo State Highway No. 23 and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of Taupo Borough).

(2) Spa Main Highway No. 898 (all that portion commencing at a point 4 chains measured along the said main highway in a north-easterly direction from its junction with Tauhara Road and terminating at the end of the said main highway).

(3) Aerodrome Road.

(4) Rifle Range Road (all that portion commencing at a point 4 chains measured along the said street in a south-westerly direction from its junction with Tauhara Road and terminating at the said junction).

Revoking a Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36


PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the warrant dated the 6th day of June 1951*, which applies to part of the area described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby declares the area described in the said Schedule to be a closely populated locality to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.


SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Clutha County—

All that area at Kaka Point consisting of the Balclutha–Kaka Point Main Highway No. 269 commencing at a point 10 chains measured along the said main highway in a southerly direction from its junction with Moana Street, and terminating at a point 60 chains measured along the said main highway in a northerly direction from its junction with Rimu Street.
