Present:

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the
assignment to Edward Wilford Jones, of Ynycya Bay, Sheep
Farmer, by Arthur Reginald Tosswill, of Ynycya Bay, Sheep
Farmer, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order
in Council dated the 1st day of December 1948 and published
in the New Zealand Gazette on the 2nd day of the same
month at page 1478, authorizing him to use water for the
purpose of generating electricity.

Amending a Licence Authorizing Norman Eric Kemp, of
Whangamomona, Motor Engineer, to Erect Electric Lines
in and About the Township of Whangamomona

February 1955

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby further amends,
as set forth in the Schedule hereto, the Order in Council dated
the 10th day of November 1948 and published in the Gazette
on the 11th day of the same month at page 1370, authorizing
William Alexander Russ, of Whangamomona, Garage Pro-
prietor, to erect electric lines in and about the Township of
Whangamomona, as amended by the Order in Council dated
the 14th day of January 1952 and published in the Gazette
on the 24th day of the same month at page 59, and further
amended by the Order in Council dated the 16th day of Sep-
tember 1953 and published in the Gazette on the 17th day
of the same month at page 1509, the rights, powers, and privi-
leges under the first-mentioned Order in Council having been
assigned by the said William Alexander Russ to Norman Eric
Kemp, of Whangamomona, Motor Engineer.

SCHEDULE

Clause 5 of the conditions thereof is deleted and the follow-
ing clause is substituted therefor:

"CHARGES ON SALE

"5. The charge for electrical energy supplied for all pur-
poses shall not exceed 2s. 6d. per unit. Payment shall not be
demanded from any consumer at intervals apart of less than
twenty-one days."

Hill, Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating
Electricity and to Erect Certain Electric Lines

February 1955

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council and with the consent of the
licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 12th
day of July 1935 and published in the New Zealand Gazette
on the 18th day of the same month at page 1940, authorizing
Robert James Gray, of Kauru Hill, Farmer, to use water for
the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain electric lines.
