New Plymouth, in place of W. A. Thomas, deceased.

Appointment of Honorary Fishery Officer

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act
1946, the Minister of Marine hereby appoints

Alan Thomson Kelk, of Raglan,

to be an Honorary Fishery Officer for the purposes of Part I
of the Fisheries Act 1908, such person to hold office until the
31st day of March 1956.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Levels County Council and
Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the
Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of
Levels, and revokes the reservation for gravel purposes over
the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Mahinapua
Survey District for Better Utilization

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the
land described in the Schedule hereto for better utilization;
and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Hokitika
and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected
by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-
grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing within forty days
from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of
Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken:
1 rood 23 perches.

Being Rural Section 1332.

Situated in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District. All
certificate of title, Volume 6, folio 63, Westland Land Registry.

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148967 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon edged red.
