Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Development of Water Power (Lake Tekapo Power Scheme) in Blocks X, XI, and XIV, Tekapo North Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, VI, VII, IX, X, and XIII, Tekapo Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land firstly to eighthly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John Scott, of Lake Tekapo, Sheepfarmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 529, folio 4, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land ninthly to twelfthly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Gerald George Murray, of Lake Tekapo, Sheepfarmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 529, folio 7, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land thirteenthly to eighteenthly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Robert Gould Hunter-Weston, of Lake Tekapo, Station Manager, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 428, folio 96, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land nineteenthly to twenty-firstly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Reginald Malthus, of Lake Tekapo, Sheepfarmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 529, folio 22, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land twenty-secondly to twenty-sixthly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John William Simpson, of Lake Tekapo, Sheepfarmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 529, folio 48, Canterbury Land Registry, are hereby taken for the development of water power (Lake Tekapo Power Scheme).

Land Taken for a Fire Station in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 71 of the Fire Services Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire station and shall vest in the Christchurch Fire Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of January 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 20 perches.

Being part Town Section 953, City of Christchurch. All certificate of title, Volume 366, folio 275, Canterbury Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of December 1955.
