Crown Land Set Apart for Defence Purposes in the Borough of Greymouth

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of December 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 acre 3 roods 31·6 perches.

Being Reserve 1930 (formerly part Reserve 703).

Situated in the Borough of Greymouth, Westland R.D. (S.O. 4577.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148803 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of December 1955.

Portions of a Public Reserve Set Apart, and Easements Over Land Taken, for Defence Purposes in Block XII, Waipoua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portions of public reserve described in the First Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, first, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to take water from a spring situated on the land first described in the said Second Schedule, and for that purpose to construct, use, and maintain a pumphouse thereon, and to carry out any other works that are deemed necessary by Her Majesty the Queen to provide an unpolluted and adequate supply of water to the land described in the said First Schedule, and, secondly, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of pipes along, under, or over the land described in the said Second Schedule, and to use the said line of pipes for the conveyance of water from the said spring to the land described in the said First Schedule, such easement to be appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right of Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the said First Schedule, such easement to be appurtenant to the said land described in the said First Schedule; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of December 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land first described in the said Schedule to the drainage and incidental rights created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 89877, Taranaki Land Registry, for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of December 1955.
