Land Taken for a Ministerial Residence in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Ministerial residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 38 perches.
Being part Section 16, Watts Peninsula District, being Lot 5, Block IX, Deeds Plan 110. All certificate of title, Volume 343, folio 16 (limited as to parcels), Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of November 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residences); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to part to drainage rights and rights incidental thereto appurtenant to Lot 2, D.P. 4124, created by Transfer No. 44095, for a police residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 35·9 perches.

Situated in Block III, Papakāo Survey District, Otago R.D. (S.O. 12171.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148635 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
