Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block IX, Hawera Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John Henry David Linnell, of Hawera, Manufacturer, under and by virtue of Renewable Lease, Volume 163, folio 128, Taranaki Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 12·3 perches.

Being part Subdivision 26 of Section 189, Patea District. Situated in Block IX, Hawera Survey District, Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 8618.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148561 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with and subject as to part to drainage rights created by Transfer No. 136876 (Wellington Land Registry), is hereby taken for street purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Petone as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.
