Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent
State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the
provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto
as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the Hobson and Whangarei Counties, con-
taining 7,450 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, and
described generally as follows:
All that area containing 6,422 acres 1 rood 22 perches,
more or less, being Section 12A, Block II, Section 15 and part
of Section 14, Block III, Sections 27 and 28, Block V, and
Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13, and part of Section 12,
Block VI, Tutamoe Survey District, and being provisional
State forest (Gazette 1923, page 2793).
Also all that area containing 1,028 acres and 2 perches,
more or less, being Sections 9, 16A, 17, 42, 48, and 49, Block
V, Tutamoe Survey District, and being provisional State
forest (Gazette 1948, page 266).
As shown on plans Nos. 8/35 and 8/43 deposited in the
Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 27th day of October 1955.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Linwood

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of
November 1955.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
1 acre and 1·5 perches.
Being Lots 27 to 32 (both inclusive), D.P. 18165, being
part Rural Section 1144, City of Christchurch, and being
formerly part certificate of title, Volume 459, folio 87, Canter-
bury Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

Conferring on Amuri County Council Certain Powers of
Borough Councils with Respect to Water Supply

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 22nd day of
November 1955
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 182 of the Counties Act 1920, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers
on the Amuri County Council all the powers with respect to
the supply of water for domestic or industrial purposes exer-
cisable by a duly constituted borough council under sections
95, 96, 98 to 100, and Part XVII (with the exception of
sections 246, 248, and 249), and section 369 of the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, but subject to the restriction that such
powers shall be exercisable only over that portion of the
County of Amuri described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of
the Chatterton River in line with the northern boundary of
Section 40, Hanmer Town Area; thence easterly generally to
and along the northern boundary of the said Section 40, and
its production along a right line bearing 84° 11′ to the north-
eastern corner of Section 24B, Hanmer Town Area; thence
southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 24B
and its production along a right line bearing 174° 11′ to the
southern side of Jollies Pass Road; thence easterly along the
southern side of Jollies Pass Road to a point 64·1 links dis-
tant from the north-eastern corner of Reserve 3941; thence
southerly generally along right lines parallel to and 50 links
west of the eastern boundary of Reserve 3941 to a public
road; thence south-westerly generally along the northern side
of the said road to and along the south-eastern side of
Christchurch Hanmer Road to a point in line with the south-
western boundary of Reserve 4555 (being Lot 15, D.P. 14148);
thence north-westerly to and along the south-western boundary
of Reserve 4555 aforesaid to its westernmost corner; thence
westerly along a right line parallel to Woodbank Road and
passing through part Section 7, Block I, Lyndon Survey
District, and the production of that line to the left bank of
the Chatterton River; thence northerly along the left bank of
that river to the point of commencement.

and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land District,
Waipa County, situated in Block XIII, Hamilton Survey
District, and Block I, Pumui Survey District, com-
mencing at a point 37·5 links south-east of the northern-
most corner of Allotment 402, Mangapiko Parish, and
proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a
distance of approximately 16 chains and terminating at a point
50 links south-east of the easternmost corner of Allotment 402,
Mangapiko Parish.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 148631 (S.O. 36688) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red
and marked A–B.

aforesaid Block III.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 148630 (S.O. 37030) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked A–B.
