Declaring Land in Taranaki Land District Vested in the Taranaki Education Board as a Site for a Public School to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board, as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 22, Block IV, Mimi Survey District: Area, 12 acres 2 roods, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 56, folio 186.

Also part Section 13, Block IV, Mimi Survey District: Area, 5 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 184, folio 91.

As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1212A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of November 1955.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Horticultural Research Station in Block XI, Kerikeri Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a horticultural research station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 acre 3 roods 33·9 perches.

Being the whole of the land in Gazette Notice No. 14480, and being formerly the whole of the land in Proclamation No. 13209.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of November 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 12·3 perches.

Being part Subdivision 26 of Section 189, Patea District. Situated in Block IX, Hawera Survey District, Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 8618.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148561 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of November 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 3 roods 16·7 perches.

Being part Lot 3, D.P. 15832, being part Allotment 9, Parish of Manurewa.

Situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39253.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148612 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
