Authorising the Laying Off of Yeovil Place in the City of
Christchurch, Subject to a Condition as to the Building
Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section 136 of the Municipal Corporations
Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes
the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying off of the
proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width
for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than
40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged
green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule as P.W.D.
148590 within a distance of 15 ft. from the side lines of the
said street.


SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City
of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8
perches, more or less, being part Rural Section 1048.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 148590 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Swainson’s Farm Settlement Road in the
Otorohanga County to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portion of road described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land District,
Otorohanga County, known as Swainson’s Farm Settlement
Road, commencing at the southernmost corner of Section
43, Block VII, Mangaoroango Survey District, and proceeding
thence in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 42 chains and terminating at the southernmost corner
of Section 44 of the aforesaid Block VII. (S.O. 37230.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 148578 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked

Declaring Portions of Road in Block XVI, Patetere North
Survey District, Matamata County, to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portions of road described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

FIRST, all that portion of road in the South Auckland Land
District, Matamata County, commencing at a point 343 links
north of the south-western corner of Section 4, Block XVI,
Patetere North Survey District, and proceeding thence in a
north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 70 chains and terminating at the northernmost corner
of the aforesaid Section 4.

Secondly, all that portion of road in the said land district
and county commencing on the aforesaid road at the south-western corner of Section 3 of the aforesaid Block XVI and
proceeding thence in a northerly direction for a distance of
approximately 5 chains.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 148577 (S.O. 37042) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked A–B and C–D respectively.

Declaring an Access Way to be Vested in the Corporation of
the Borough of Putaruru and to be Under the Control and

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Housing Amendment Act
1940, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby orders and declares that the access way described in
the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order
in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of
the Borough of Putaruru, and be under the control and
management of the Putaruru Borough Council.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the access way dealt with: 15·4 perches.
Being Lot 13, D.P. S. 1284, being part Mangakaretu No. 1
Block.

Situated in Block X, Patetere North Survey District,

Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the resolution passed by the Kaiapoi Borough
Council on the 18th day of July 1955, and set out in the First
Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion
of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE

The Kaiapoi Borough Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in the Borough of Kaiapoi, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the
Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the northern side
of the portion of Coups Terrace in the Borough of Kaiapoi
adjoining all that parcel of land situated in the Borough of
Kaiapoi containing by admeasurement two roods (2r.) being
Lot 31, D.P. 786, part of Rural Section 1260, and being the
whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 160,
folio 267.


SECOND SCHEDULE

The northern side of all that portion of street in the Canterbury Land District, Borough of Kaiapoi, known as Coups
Terrace, fronting Lot 31, D.P. 786, being part Rural Section
1260.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 148589 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
