BANKS PENINSULA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and amendments, and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Banks Peninsula Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, principal, and other charges on the Kinloch Reticulation Loan 1955, £13,300, authorized to be raised by the Banks Peninsula Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating the Board’s District, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-sixth of a penny (1/26d.) in the pound (£1) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Banks Peninsula Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of Braeburn (Masterton) Ltd.
AT an extraordinary meeting of the members of the above company held at Masterton on the 19th day of October 1955, the following special resolution was duly passed:
"1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
"2. That Mr Lawrence James Johnsen, of Masterton, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed as liquidator of the company."

Notice of Meeting
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held in the offices of Messrs Mitson, Bell, and Company, 24 Water Street, Dunedin, on Monday, 28 November 1955, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets disposed of and of hearing any explanation that may be required from the liquidator.

ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1920 and the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Eltham County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the acquiring of a portion of land from Section 40, Block IX, Ngaire Survey District, as a metal pit, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Stanners Street, Eltham, and is open for inspection (without fee) to all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Stanners Street, Eltham.

APPROXIMATE area of parcels of land required to be taken: 2 acres 1 rood 13 perches.
Being portion of Section No. 40.

Situate in the County of Eltham.
