Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in Waitomo County, containing 1,226 acres and 11 perches, more or less, being Section 6 and parts of Section 4, Block II, Awakino North Survey District. As shown on plan No. 43/7 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1955.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in Inglewood County containing 3 acres and 31 perches, more or less, and being part of Section I, Block XVI, Waitara Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 60/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 8681.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1955.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in Southland County, containing 499 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less, being Sections 12 and 13, Block XI, Wyndham Survey District. As shown on plan No. 217/16 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 1238.)

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Botovua

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of October 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 32·2 perches.

Being Lot 101, D.P. S.1628, being part Section 46, Suburbs of Botovua, being originally part of the Pukeroa-o-Ruawhata Block, and being part of the land formerly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 658, folio 265, Auckland Registry.

Situated in the Borough of Botovua.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of October 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in connection therewith.

At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of October 1955

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Kaiapoi Borough Council to invest from the Hansen's Building Replacement Reserve Fund in its Waimakariri Harbour Account the sum of three thousand pounds (£3,000) in the debentures of the Kaiapoi Borough Council for the ‘Sewerage Advances Loan 1955, £5,000’.
