At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of October 1955
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Wellington Harbour Board to invest from the Board’s Employers Liability Fund the sum of five thousand pounds (£5,000) in the debentures of the Wellington Hospital Board and from the Board’s Dock General Insurance Fund the sum of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) in the debentures of the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board.

Licensing the Kaikoura County Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore on the Kaikoura Coast as a Site for a Groyne

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits the Kaikoura County Council (hereinafter called the Council, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark on the Kaikoura Coast as shown on plan marked M.D. 9907 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a groyne as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the Council upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the date hereof.

In consideration of the concessions and privileges granted by this Order in Council, the Council shall pay to the Minister an annual rental of 1s. payable on demand.

Licensing McCallum Bros. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore in the Weiti River as a Site for a Mooring Gantry, Hopper, and Conveyor

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits William Fraser McCallum, of Auckland, trading under the style or title of “McCallum Bros.” (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Weiti River as shown on plan marked M.D. 9943, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a mooring gantry, hopper, and conveyor, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1955.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

Vesting Reclaimed Land in Tauranga Harbour in the Tauranga Harbour Board

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS it is provided by section 170 of the Harbours Act 1950 (hereinafter called the said Act) that the Governor-General in Council may vest in any Harbour Board an area of land which the Board has reclaimed:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the 31st day of January 1951, plans marked M.D. 9164 and M.D. 9165 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, of a reconstruction of the Coronation Pier and of a solid filled approach access to that pier, respectively, in Tauranga Harbour were approved, and the Tauranga Harbour Board (hereinafter called the Board) was authorized to carry out the said work in accordance with the said plan:
And whereas the reconstruction of the said solid filled approach access to the Coronation Pier constitutes a reclamation and such reclamation has now been carried out by the Board as shown on plan marked M.D. 9947 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and it is desirable to vest the said reclaimed land in the Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 170 of the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Board all that land reclaimed from the sea of Tauranga Harbour as shown edged red on plan marked M.D. 9947, such vesting in the Board to date from the date hereof.

Foreshore—French Farm Bay—Slipway—French Farm Aquatic Club

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits the French Farm Aquatic Club (hereinafter called the Club, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in French Farm Bay as shown on plan marked M.D. 9903 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the Club upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
