A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of October 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 8·8 perches.

Being part Rural Section 70.

Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8885.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148355 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of October 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 6 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an institution established under the Child Welfare Act 1925; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of October 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.

Being Lot 17, D.P. 2850, being part Section 17, Suburbs of Rotorua, and being originally part Pukeroa-o-Ruawhata Block. All certificate of title, Volume 790, folio 54, Auckland Land Registry.

and Revoking Previous Proclamation

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 15 August 1955 and published in Gazette No. 54, 18 August 1955, page 1292, taking land for prison purposes in the City of Invercargill, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for prison purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of October 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 1·5 perches.

Adjoining Lots 1 and 2, Block VI, D.P. 299, being part Section 27, Block I, Invercargill Hundred.

Situated in the City of Invercargill, Southland R.D. (S.O. 6191.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144273 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
