MANIOTOTO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan, £20,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, the Maniototo County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000) authorized to be raised by the Maniototo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Maniototo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·231 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Maniototo; and such rate shall be an annual-returning rate during the currency of such loan to be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Maniototo County Council held on the 23rd day of September 1955.

PIEMELON BAY PROPERTIES LIMITED
IN LIQUIDATION
TAKE notice that a general meeting of Piemelon Bay Properties Limited (in liquidation) will be held at Jason House, 12 Courthouse Lane, Auckland, on Thursday, the 10th day of November 1955, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of presenting the liquidator’s account of the winding-up showing how the winding-up has been effected and the property of the company has been disposed of.

INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, the Inangahua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing security for interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000 authorized to be raised by the Inangahua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the supply of water to Reefton Township, the said Inangahua County Council hereby makes a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Inangahua, and that such special rate will be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
IT is hereby notified that the partnership existing between WILLIAM ALBERT ROBERTS, of Kamo, Second-hand Dealer, COLIN BRUCE HAWKINS, of Whangarei, Second-hand Dealer, and DOUGLAS KEITH MORONEY, of Kamo, Second-hand Dealer, wool buyers, and sack and skin merchants, at Whangarei and elsewhere, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 16th day of September 1955. As from that date the business is being carried on by the said William Albert Roberts and the said Colin Bruce Hawkins in partnership.

BULLER ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Buller Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on the loan of £5,300 authorized to be raised by the Buller Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the construction of new works, and lines and increase in capacity of existing lines as apart from Karamea, the said Buller Electric Power Board hereby raises and levies a special rate of one decimal four one of a penny (1·41d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Buller Electric Power District, comprising part of the County of Buller and the whole of the Borough of Westport; and that such special rate shall be an annual-returning rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The said special rate is the same rate made and levied by the said Board on the 13th day of March 1951, the 10th day of March 1952, the 9th day of September 1952, the 9th day of March 1953, the 13th day of July 1953, the 12th day of October 1953, the 8th day of February 1954, the 14th day of June 1954, the 21st day of June 1954, and the 8th day of November 1954, and not additional thereto.”

“The company be wound up voluntarily and that Claude Whitney Evans, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of the winding-up.”
