Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of the Sockburn–Styx Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1923, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day of June 1953, and published in Gazette, 25 June 1953, Volume II, page 962, defining the middle line of the Sockburn–Styx Railway in so far as it affects Lot 1, D.P. 9101, being part Rural Sections 533A, 566, and 734, situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District. All certificate of title, Volume 470, folio 226, Canterbury Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of September 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of October 1955.
