PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a gravel pit; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 10th day of October 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood
8 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 4656, being part Section 938.
Situated in Block XXX, Hokonui Survey District, South-
land R.D. (S.O. 6205.)

for forest plantation purposes and shall vest in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clutha as from
the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of
October 1955.
