Additional Land Taken for a Fire Brigade Station in the City of Nelson

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 71 of the Fire Services Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire brigade station and shall vest in the Nelson Fire Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of September 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 1 rood 22·5 perches.

Being part Section 1167, City of Nelson.

Situated in the City of Nelson, Nelson R.D. (S.O. 9922.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 147639 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of August 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with the right to overhang eaves and spouting created by Conveyance No. 149957 (limited as to duration), and subject to the right to overhang eaves created by Conveyance No. 149955, and subject to the drainage rights created by Agreement No. 66840, for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of September 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 4·41 perches.

Being part Section 585, Town of Wellington, being Lot 2, Deeds Plan 590, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 535, folio 290, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 2 of the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act 1954, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for tramway purposes (administrative offices and workshops) and shall vest in the Christchurch Transport Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of September 1955.
