Altering the Boundaries of the Waitaki Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Waitaki Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago and Canterbury Land Districts being portion of the Waitaki County bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waitaki River at its confluence with the Awakino River, in Block V, Kurow Survey District, thence south-easterly generally along the south-western boundary of the Waitaki Electric Power District as described in the N.Z. Gazette of 1923, at page 2187, to its junction in Section 31, Block XI, Moeraki Survey District, with the south-western boundary of the Waitaki County, as described in the N.Z. Gazette of 1954, at page 1144, thence north-westerly, north-easterly and south-easterly generally along the south-western, north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the Waitaki County as hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the Waitaki River at its confluence with the Awakino River, being the point of commencement.
As the said area is more particularly shown edged blue on the plan marked S.H.D. 355 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of September 1955.
