Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve No. 1630 set apart by Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1930, and published in Gazette, 9 October 1930, Vol. III, page 3125, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

Portion of Section 3084, situated in Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District: Area, 7 acres, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 11/7/489, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of August 1955.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Marlborough Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and Wellington Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements, affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Part Allotment 18, Parish of Mangatawhiri, situated in Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District: Area, 2 roods 26 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 502, folio 1. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242D deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
