HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensees, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 27th day of August 1954 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 30th day of the same month, at page 2765, authorizing John Elliott McKibbin, of Hautoru, Kawhia, Farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, and to erect certain electric lines, the rights, powers, and privileges under the said Order in Council having been assigned to Roy Leslie Bradford and Morton George Frederick Mailman, both of Hautoru, Kawhia, Farmers.

Adding Land to the Arthur Pass National Park

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land taken for the extension of the Arthur Pass National Park, shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the said Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Arthur Pass National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Sounds (Fiordland) National Park, shall as from the date hereof be administered under the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908, but otherwise shall remain part of the said Park.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, being Crown lands subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948, shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the Sounds (Fiordland) National Park, and such lands shall hereafter be subject to the provisions of the first-mentioned Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing approximately 27,400 acres, situated in Caples, Hollyford, Humboldt, and Martins Bay Survey Districts, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Run 471 on Tutoko Creek in Caples Survey District; thence generally north-westerly and easterly along the south-western and northern boundaries of Run 471 to the Hollyford River; thence generally south-easterly along the left bank of the Hollyford River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Run 472; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and easterly along the northern boundary of Run 472; thence southerly and south-westerly to and along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Run 473 and generally southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Run 474 to the Hollyford River; thence westerly across the Hollyford River to its left bank; thence generally northerly along the left bank of the Hollyford River to Tutoko Creek; thence generally south-westerly along the southern boundary of Run 471 to the commencing point.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 8/9/70 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing approximately 2,180 acres, situated in Block IV, Manapouri Survey District, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of Run 176b; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of Run 176b to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Manapouri Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 1, to and across the Waiau River to the right bank thereof; thence south-westerly and north-westerly generally along the right bank of the Waiau River to its mouth at Lake Manapouri; thence southerly generally along the eastern shore of the said lake to the northern side of a public road forming the northern boundary of the Town of Manapouri; thence easterly along the northern side of the said road to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 254 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 11 April 1932 and published in the Gazette, 14 April 1932, Vol. I, page 761, prohibiting all alienations of the Maori land known as Kaimanawa 1e 28 and other blocks, other than alienations in favour of the Crown, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.
