Additional Land at Awatoto Taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier railway:
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
2 perches.
Being part Section 43, Block I, Clive Survey District.
Situated in Hawke’s Bay County. (S.O. 2827.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13470 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of June 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

APPROXIMATE aggregate area of the pieces of land: 68 acres.
Railway land, being parts Reserve 1924.
Situated in Block VI, Hinds Survey District, Ashburton County. (S.O. 8735.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13464 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the Greytown Borough Council has requested the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act 1908:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the Greytown Borough Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of that Act.
