P URSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres and
13·7 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotments 171, 172, and 173,
Rangitaiki Parish.
Situated in Block VII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District,
Auckland R.D. (S.O. 37108.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146756
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

Schedule hereto and that intersects the public domain described
in the Second Schedule hereto to be added to the said
public domain.

hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato
Railway.
