Land Taken for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes in Block I, Waimata Survey District, and Block I,
Turanganui Survey District, Cook County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation and river-control purposes, and shall vest in the Poverty Bay Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of June 1955.
