then along the southern and south-eastern boundaries of the
said Section 7 to the south-western boundary of Section 6,
Block X, Hautapu Survey District; then along the south-
western boundaries of Sections 6 and 62, Block X, the southern
boundary of the said Section 62, the southern boundaries of
Sections 4 and 3, Block XI, Hautapu Survey District, to Cross
Road; then south-easterly along Cross Road to the south-
eastern boundary of Section 39A, Block XV, Hautapu Survey
District; then north-easterly along that south-eastern bound-
ary to Mangawharariki Road and along a right line to the
south-western corner of Section 14, Block XII, Hautapu
Survey District; then easterly along the southern boundary of
Block XII, Hautapu Survey District, and northerly along the
eastern boundary of the said Block XII to Mangatohu Road;
then across the said road and in a south-easterly direction
along the south-western boundary of Section 7, Block IX,
Ruahine Survey District, the south-western and south-eastern
boundaries of Section 8, Block IX, the south-western boundary
of Section 4, Block IX, the south-western and south-eastern
boundaries of Section 5, Block IX aforesaid, and the production
of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Poura-
gaki River; then up the middle of that river to a point
opposite the eastern boundary of Block XIII, Ruahine Survey
District; then north-easterly by a right line to Trig. Station I
(Ruahemi); then north-westerly by a right line to a point
in the middle of Hikurangi Stream opposite the eastern bound-
ary of Section 20, Block IX, Ruahine Survey District; then
northerly to and along the eastern boundary of the said
Section 20 and the production of that boundary to the middle
of the Kawhatau River, being also a point on the boundary of
the County of Rangitikei as described in New Zealand Gazette
1953, at page 536; then easterly, northerly, westerly, and
southerly generally along the boundaries of Rangitikei County
described as aforesaid to its intersection with a right line from
Trig. A (Totem), situated in Block X, Moawhango Survey
District, to Trig. Tunutara, situated in Block XII, Karioi
Survey District; then north-westerly along the said right line
to the western boundary of Moawhango Survey District; then
southerly along the said western boundary to the northern
boundary of Rangitikei County described as aforesaid; then
westerly along that County boundary to the north-eastern corner
of Section 7, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District, this being
the intersection of the boundaries of Rangitikei and Wanganui
Counties; then generally westerly, south-westerly, north-west-
erly, and south-westerly along the northern boundary of the
County of Wanganui as described in New Zealand Gazette
1926, at page 2500, to the middle of the Wanganui River at a
point opposite the north-west boundary of Ohoutahi Block;
then generally southerly along the middle of the said river
to a point opposite the north-east corner of the Tunahaere Block,
Section 282N, Block IX, Waipakura Survey District; then in a
north-westerly direction along the northern boundaries of the
Tunahaere Block and Koatunui and Kaiwhatu Blocks to a point
on the Karemu Stream in the north-west corner of the Koatunui
and Kaiwhatu Blocks, Block XII, Nukumaru Survey District;
then in a northerly direction along the Karemu Stream to
the north-east corner of Rangitatau No. 1c No. 1 Block;
then in a westerly direction along the northern boundaries
of Rangitatau No. 1c Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks; then north-west
along the northern boundary of Rangitatau No. 1A and part
Rangitatau No. 1D Blocks to a point on the Upper Pakaraka
Road in the north-west corner of part Rangitatau No. 1D
Block; then north along the Upper Pakaraka Road to a
point in the north-east corner of Lot 2A, Rangitatau Block,
Block VI, Nukumaru Survey District; then in a north-
westerly direction along the northern boundaries of said Lot 2A,
Rangitatau Block, and Section 17, Block V, Nukumaru Survey
District, to the Waitotara River; then up the said Waitotara
River to the boundary between the Wellington and Taranaki
Land Districts; then south-westerly along that boundary to a
point on the eastern corner of part Section 456, Block V,
Carlyle Survey District; then along Okotuku Road in a
northerly direction generally to the northern boundary of
Section 458, Block XV, Opaku Survey District; then along
the northern boundary of the said Section 458 to Okahutini
Road; then along the said road in a southerly direction;
then along the northern boundary of Section 3, Block XV,
Opaku Survey District, to the Whenuakura River; then down
the middle of that river to the sea coast, and south-easterly
generally along the sea coast to the middle of the mouth of the
Rangitikei River, the point of commencement. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 336
deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

MANAWATU-OROUA ELECTRIC POWER DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District comprising the
City of Palmerston North, the Borough of Feilding, the
Counties of Oroua and Pohangina, and portions of the Counties
of Kairanga, Kiwitea, Woodville, Manawatu, and Pahiatua,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast at
the mouth of the Rangitikei River, being also a point on the
boundary of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power District
hereinbefore described; then north-easterly generally along
the south-eastern boundary of the said district to the middle
of the Kawhatau River; then up the middle of that river to
its source; and then by a right line to the summit of the
Ruahine Range; then along the summit of that range to
Wharite Trig. Station; then along the eastern boundaries of
Blocks II and IV, Gorge Survey District, to the middle of the
Manawatu River; then down the middle of that river to the
eastern boundary of Kairanga County as described in New
Zealand Gazette 1916, page 780; then south-westerly and
westerly generally along the south-eastern and south-western
boundaries of Kairanga County described as aforesaid to the
middle of the Manawatu River; then down the middle of that
river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of
Section 4, Himatangi Block, Blocks II and III, Mount Robinson
Survey District; then to and along that boundary to the
Palmerston North—Foxton Road; then across that road and
along the eastern boundary of Section 332, Block I, Mount
Robinson Survey District, to its south-eastern corner; then
along the southern boundaries of Sections 332 and 329, Block I,
aforesaid, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned
section; then along the northern boundary of Block I,
Moutere Survey District, to the sea coast; then along the sea
coast to the mouth of the Rangitikei River, the place of com-
mencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked S.H.D. 337 deposited in the office of the
State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of the Sockburn-Styx Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclama-
tion dated the 18th day of June 1953, and published in the
Gazette, 25 June 1953, Vol. II, page 962, defining the
middle line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway in so far as it
affects part Lot 5, D.P. 2508, being Rural Sections 130
and 1490 and part Rural Section 1155, and Lot 2, D.P. 573,
being part Rural Section 1155, situated in Block IX, Christ-
church Survey District, and being the whole of the land
comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 33,
folio 130, and Volume 332, folio 57, Canterbury Land
Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand
this 9th day of June 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th
day of June 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 13·
perches.

Being Section 16, Winearls Settlement (formerly part section 243A, City of Nelson).

Situated in the City of Nelson. (S.O. 7263.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146779 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand
this 10th day of June 1955.
