PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Joke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street described in the schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 17·3 perches. Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 54, Te Rapa Parish.
Situated in Block II, Hamilton Survey District, City of Hamilton, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 36868.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146705 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of June 1955.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land comprised in the closed street described in the First Schedule hereto that is adjacent to the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be added to the said reserve.

Situated in the Borough of Hawera, Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 8695.)

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of Hawera, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 38·8 perches, more or less, being Lots 100, 102, 104, and 106, D.P. 4119, being part Section 37, Town of Hawera, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 103, folio 78, Taranaki Land Registry.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, Grey County, containing 1,420 acres, more or less, and being Reserve 1944, situated in Block VIII, Kopara Survey District, and Blocks V and VI, Haupiri Survey District. As the same is shown on plan No. 127/8, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 4657.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 8·5 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Auckland, being Lots 135 and 136, D.P. 1370, being part Allotment 15 of section 7 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 582, folio 192 (limited as to parcels), Auckland Registry.

The Land and Income Tax Payment Order 1955

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Land and Income Tax Payment Order 1955.
-
This order applies to land tax and income tax for the year of assessment commencing on the 1st day of April 1955.
-
Land tax shall be due and payable in one sum on the 19th day of September 1955.
-
Income tax shall be due and payable in one sum on the 6th day of February 1956.
-
Land tax and income tax shall be payable at any office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or at any money order post office.
