Land and Portion of a Public Reserve Taken for Defence Purposes in the Borough of Stratford

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the First Schedule hereto and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby taken for defence purposes.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve taken: 1 acre and 17·06 perches.

Being Sections 125, 126, and 127, and part Sections 164, 165, and 166, Town of Stratford; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 15·74 perches.

Being part Section 1014, Town of Stratford; coloured orange.

All situated in the Borough of Stratford, Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 8675.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146631 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of May 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a technical school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of June 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 34·7 perches.

Being part road.

Situated in Block XV, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 38999.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of June 1955.
