Declaring Land in Wellington Land District, Vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board, as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PART Section 227, Right Bank Wanganui River, situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District: Area, 0ยท21 perch, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1258, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Part certificate of title, Volume 550, folio 113. (S.O. Plan 23339.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of May 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PART Lot 1, Deeds Plan C. 60, being part Papepape Block, situated in Block II, Wairoa Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 766, folio 138 (limited as to parcels and title). As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also Section 6A, Block X, Purua Survey District: Area, 5 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plan 2682.)
Also Part Allotment 22, Kaitara Parish, shown on Deposited Plan No. 1561, situated in Block X, Purua Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 80, folio 60, together with right-of-way over part Allotment 22, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 470, folio 74, created by transfer No. 18360. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
