HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

The Dannevirke High School Board of Governors Order 1955

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Dannevirke High School Board of Governors Order 1955.

  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of the Dannevirke High School prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board;

(b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils of the school;

(c) One member appointed by the Governor-General;

(d) One member appointed by the Dannevirke Borough Council;

(e) One member appointed by the Dannevirke County Council.

Revoking an Order in Council Bringing an Acclimatization Reserve in South Auckland Land District, Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 24th day of November 1924, and published in Gazette, 27 November 1924, Volume III, page 2827, the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an acclimatization reserve, was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908.

And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid Order in Council should be revoked.

Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the aforesaid Order in Council dated the 24th day of November 1924.

Vesting Control of a Reserve Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908

At the Government House at Wellington this 25th day of May 1955
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908 (hereinafter termed the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests the control of the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule hereto, in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said Act, and hereby declares that the said reserve shall be administered under the said Act.

Reserve in Otago Land District Brought Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation purposes in the Otago Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908; and such reserve shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.
