Authorizing the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Portions of the Counties of Taupo and Matamata

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts, as incorporated under the Rotorua Borough Act 1922 (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (f) of Regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of October 1973.

SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
(a) All that area in the South Auckland Land District, being part of the County of Taupo, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the point of intersection of the middle of the Waikato River with the eastern boundary of Block XII, Tatura Survey District, and proceeding in a northerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Blocks XII and VIII, Tatura Survey District, to a point due east from the confluence of the Kowaimoku and Otawheta Streams; thence due west to the confluence of the said two streams; thence in a north-westerly direction along the south-western boundary of Tahorakuri No. 3 Block to the south-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block VI, Tatura Survey District; thence south-westerly, north-westerly, and north-easterly along the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of the said Section 1 to the western boundary of part Te Hukui North Block; thence northerly along the said western boundary to the south-western boundary of Tutukau East B 6 Block; thence north-westerly along the said south-western boundary to the western boundary of Tutukau West B Block; thence northerly along the said western boundary to the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 16198; thence north-westerly along the said south-western boundary to the eastern boundary of part Tatura East No. 3 Block; thence northerly along the said eastern boundary to the southern boundary of Tatura East No. 2 Block; thence westerly along the said southern boundary and that boundary produced to the western side of the Wai tau-Taupo Main Highway; thence northerly along the western side of the said highway to the southern boundary of Block XI, Te Atiamuri Survey District; thence north-westerly and westerly along the said southern boundary and westerly along the southern boundaries of Blocks X and IX, Te Atiamuri Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block IX aforesaid; thence northerly along the said eastern boundary, the eastern boundary of Pouakani B 6E Block, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Waikato River; thence upstream along the middle of the said river to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Block XII, Tatura Survey District, being the point of commencement.
As the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 321 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red.
(b) All that area in the South Auckland Land District, being that part of the Matamata County described in paragraph (a) of the Schedule to the Order in Council dated the 15th day of November 1950 and published in the Gazette on the 16th day of the same month, at page 1978, altering the boundaries of the Thames Valley Electric Power District.
(c) All that area in the South Auckland Land District, being that part of the Matamata County described in paragraph (b) of the Schedule to the said Order in Council dated the 15th day of November 1950.

Authorizing the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of the Tauranga Electric Power Board to Invest Moneys in Certain Local Body Securities

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1927 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the investment by the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of the Tauranga Electric Power Board in debentures of the Taranaki Harbour Board, bearing interest at 4 per cent and maturing on the 16th day of February 1965, of the sum of five thousand five hundred pounds (£5,500), the said sum having been received in terms of section 22 of the said Act by the said Commissioners.

Authorizing the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to Invest Moneys in Certain Local Body Securities

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1927 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the investment by the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board in debentures of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board, bearing interest at 4 per cent and maturing on the 26th day of July 1964, of the sum of twenty thousand four hundred pounds (£21,400), the said sum having been received in terms of section 22 of the said Act by the said Commissioners.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment to Roy Arthur Cyril Newman, of Owen River, Nelson, Farmer, by Frank Herbert Newman, of Owen River, Nelson, Farmer, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the 22nd day of July 1936, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 23rd day of the same month at page 1383, authorizing him to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain electric lines.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 11th day of October 1914 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 12th day of the same month, at page 1216, authorizing Edward James Russek, of Kereta, Farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, the rights, powers, and privileges under the said Order in Council having been assigned to Linton Albert Wenzlick, of Kereta, Farmer.
