A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137270 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of May 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 3 roods 26 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lot 4, D.P. 8804, being part Allotment 123, Mangapiko Parish.
Situated in Block I, Puniu Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 36906.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146511 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington—Foxton Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 8·18 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 12597, and being part Muaupoko Block, Block III, Kapiti Survey District, Hutt County. (S.O. 23348.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13421 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Authorizing the Tararua Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Part of the Weber County

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 25th day of May 1955
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Tararua Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto, and further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Board’s Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorizes the licensee to construct electric works within the said area of supply.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 23rd day of April 1965.
SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
ALL that portion of the Weber County included in the Tararua Electric Power District by the Proclamation dated the 19th day of March 1955 and published in the Gazette on the 24th day of the same month, at page 424.
