Land Held for Housing Purposes Set Apart for Buildings of
the General Government in the Borough of Hokitika

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto,
now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for build-
ings of the General Government; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of
April 1955.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land set apart:

0 0 33·5 Lot 22, D.P. 1272, being part Reserves 585 and
586 and part Section 3968, situated in the
Borough of Hokitika, and being part of the
land comprised and described in certificates of
title, Volume 29, folio 117, Volume 29, folio
118, and Volume 49, folio 245, Westland Land
Registry.
0 0 35·2 Lot 23, D.P. 1272, being part Reserve 586 and
part Section 3968, situated in the Borough of
Hokitika, and being part of the land comprised
and described in certificates of title, Volume
29, folio 118, and Volume 49, folio 245, West-
land Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 31st day of March 1955.

for a Hospital in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken, subject as to part to the right-of-way reserved
in Memorandum of Transfer No. 348614, Wellington Land
Registry, for a hospital; and I also declare that this Proclama-
tion shall take effect on and after the 12th day of April 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
28·3 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 10893, being part Section 870, Town of
Wellington, situate in the City of Wellington, and being the
whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of
title, Volume 580, folio 200, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 31st day of March 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General, Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the First and Second
Schedules hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 12th day of April 1955.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of additional land taken:

0 0 8 Part Section 20, Block I, Town of Oban; coloured
blue.
0 0 14·4 Part Section 21, Block I, Town of Oban; coloured
yellow.

In the Southland Land District; as the same are more

deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 1
rood.

Being Section 7, Block I, Township of Oban, and being the
whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of
title, Volume 42, folio 160, Southland Land Registry.

All situated in Block I, Paterson Survey District, Southland
R.D.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 12th day of April 1955.

perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 42131, being part Allotment 51,
Parish of Whangarei.

Situated in Block VIII, Purua Survey District, Auckland
R.D. (S.O. 38765.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146127
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with
the water rights appurtenant thereto created by Memorandum
of Transfer No. 64328, is hereby taken for housing purposes;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 12th day of April 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 7 acres 1 rood
12·6 perches.

Being Lot 3, D.P. 8145, part Heretaunga Block, situate
partly in the Borough of Hastings and partly in Block XVI,
Heretaunga Survey District, and being the whole of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume
131, folio 195, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 31st day of March 1955.
