Altering the Boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District being portion of the Stratford County bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary between the Stratford and the Whangamomona Counties, being the most southern point of Section 36, Block VI, Ngatimaru Survey District, and thence proceeding generally westerly along the northern boundaries of Sections 43 and 14, Block VI aforesaid, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned Section; thence to and westerly along the northern boundary of Section 42, Block VI aforesaid, and the northern boundary of Part Section 17, Block X, Ngatimaru Survey District, to and across the Heao Road to the northern boundary of Section 23, Block IX, Ngatimaru Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Section 23 aforesaid and Section 26, Block V, Ngatimaru Survey District, to and northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block V aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the western bank of the Waitara River; thence generally northerly along the said western bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 13, Block VIII, Huiroa Survey District; thence generally northerly to and along the said eastern boundary of Section 13 to the boundary of the Stratford County; thence generally northerly, easterly, and southerly along the boundary of the Stratford County as described in New Zealand Gazette, No. 81, of 5 December 1929, at page 3093, to the most southern point of Section 36, Block VI, Ngatimaru Survey District, being the point of commencement. As the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 325 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in blue.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Tourist and Health Resort in Block XI, Waiho Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a tourist and health resort; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of March 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods 35 perches.
Being Rural Section 4094, and being part of the land comprised and described in Proclamation No. 831, Westland Land Registry.
Situated in Block XI, Waiho Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of March 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 11 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for an irrigation research station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of March 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a post office; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of March 1955.

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146030 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Hamilton, by Arthur Ernest Moore, of Hamilton, Carpenter, under and by virtue of Lease No. 16531, Auckland Land Registry, is hereby taken for health purposes (clinic); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of March 1955.
