Additional Land Taken for the Purposes of an Aerodrome in Blocks V and IX, Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an aerodrome, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of March 1955.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 73 acres 2 roods 20 perches.
Being part Reserve 947.
Situated in Blocks V and IX, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8725.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145723 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 142 acres 1 rood 30 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 10480, being part Reserve 947, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 448, folio 57, Canterbury Land Registry.
Situated in Block V, Christchurch Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of March 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Timaru Substation).

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 3 acres and 14 perches.
Being part Rural Section 2336.
Situated in Block X, Arowhenua Survey District, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8794.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146044 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of March 1955.

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146031 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Being Lot 3, D.P. 17801, being part Rural Section 76.
Situated in the City of Christchurch, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 498, folio 280 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of March 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 10Β·5 perches.
Being Lot 6, D.R.O. Plan 1171, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 772, folio 185, Auckland Land Registry (limited as to parcels). Situated in the Borough of Otahuhu.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of March 1955.
